About
Built in Sharjah, for one market, on purpose
PropertyDesk is a focused product rather than a general platform adapted to the UAE. That is the whole design decision, and everything below follows from it.
What it was built to fix
Most rental offices in the UAE run on spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads and a separate accounting package. Each is fine on its own. Together they produce a specific set of failures: a cheque that bounced three weeks ago and nobody noticed, a renewal that expired while the tenant was already viewing elsewhere, a landlord who left because they had to telephone to find out anything at all.
The decision that shaped everything else was to put a real double-entry ledger underneath the operations rather than beside them. It is considerably harder to build, and it is why an office can stop paying for a second accounting system — but more importantly it means the figures in the reports are the figures in the books, because they were never separate to begin with.
The second decision was that Arabic would be a first-class language rather than a translation layer added afterwards. Every screen, report, notification and generated PDF works in Arabic, and each landlord receives their statement in whichever language they read.
How we work with offices
Every migration is done by hand. Somebody opens your actual spreadsheets, works out what the columns mean and loads them properly. This is slower than pointing you at a self-service importer, and it is the reason we take a limited number of onboardings each quarter — but it is also why offices are working the next day rather than three weeks later.
Demos and support come from the people who build the system, not from a separate team reading a script. If something is broken, we would rather hear it directly and fix it than route it through a queue.
Where PropertyDesk is a poor fit, we say so during the demo. A trial that was never going to work costs you two weeks and costs us more than that.

Questions
Where is PropertyDesk based?
Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates. Offices across all seven emirates are served, and support runs Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 to 18:00 Gulf Standard Time, in English and Arabic.
Who will I actually deal with?
The people who build the system. Demos, migration and support are not handed to a separate department, which means answers are specific and changes happen quickly. If you need a formal account-management structure and a procurement portal, we are not that, and it is better to establish it now than after a trial.
What happens to our data if we stop using PropertyDesk?
You export it yourself, at any time, without needing our involvement or a support request. Every listing page, all eight financial reports and the raw journal ledger export to CSV. There is no minimum term and no cancellation penalty, and nothing is held in a format that only PropertyDesk can read.
How long has PropertyDesk been in development?
It has been built and refined over an extended period against real UAE rental workflows rather than assembled quickly from a template. The clearest evidence of that is the depth we publish openly — the exact accounting journals, the module detail and the honest list of what the system does not do.
Which language should we contact you in?
Either. English and Arabic are both fine for demos, support, training and written documentation.
