Tax invoices that post themselves to the ledger
An invoice that is issued in one system and recorded in another is an invoice that will eventually disagree with itself. Here they are the same event.
How it works
Seven invoice types cover the things a rental office actually charges for: rent, management fees whether deducted from rent or billed separately, letting commission, NOC fees, renewal and administration fees, late payment penalties and custom items. Each produces an A4 tax invoice carrying your trade licence details and TRN with the 5% VAT broken out.
Invoices can be emailed straight to the client, and every send is written to a delivery log so there is a record of what went where. The PDF is snapshotted when it is first sent, which means a sent invoice cannot quietly change afterwards.
Payments are recorded append-only against the invoice. Partial and split settlement is supported, each payment can be reversed on its own, and a payment can be linked to the specific cheque that settled it — so if that cheque bounces later, the payment reverses automatically. Credit notes carry their own document sequence rather than editing the original.

Questions
Is the invoice compliant with UAE requirements?
The invoice carries the elements a UAE tax invoice is expected to show — your trade name and TRN, the client's details, a sequential number, the date, the description, the net amount, the 5% VAT and the total — and credit notes are issued on their own sequence rather than by amending the original. As with any system, have your own accountant confirm the treatment against your circumstances before relying on it.
Can a tenant pay an invoice in instalments?
Yes. Payments are appended to the invoice rather than overwriting a single paid flag, so an invoice can be partly settled, settled from more than one source, and each payment can be reversed on its own if something goes wrong. The invoice's status moves through partially paid to paid as the balance closes.
